This selection of lessons is about baptism. It is not water but the blood of Christ that washes us from sin. However it is in water baptism that, having believed in Christ, repented of sins, and confessed Christ, we enter into his death, receive the forgiveness of sins through his blood, and receive the Holy Spirit so that we might rise up from baptism to walk in new life.
➤ Baptism Into Christ —The fifth step to salvation is being buried with Christ by baptism into his death.
➤ Is Baptism Immersion? —In this lesson we study what is sometimes called the form or action of baptism.
➤ Baby Baptism —Examines the question of whether babies should be baptized. Looks at the state of innocence, the question of nature, and the steps of obedience that accompany baptism.
➤ Life Changing Words —The Queen’s treasurer from Ethiopia had been to worship in Jerusalem. As he sat in his chariot on his way home, travelling the lonely road, he was reading from the book of Isaiah. The passage he was reading when Philip ran up to his chariot and greeted him, was Isaiah 53:7-8.
